Celebrating 40 years of unity and solidarity.

The mining history of County Durham dates to the 12th century. Nearly nine centuries later, Durham Pride was founded, creating a special link between the Durham Miners Association and the LGBT+ community.

In partnership with OUT NE, we are delighted to invite you to the screening of the multi-award-winning film, Pride. The film showcases an unexpected alliance and marks a significant step for LGBT+ equality in the UK.

Join us and Stanley’s very own Freedom Zone Youth Group at Beamish Football Centre to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the strikes and enjoy an evening of solidarity and inclusion.
